I had written a post last month about Downloading Videos From Youtube Right To Your Desktop. This time I had to do a search for downloading other free streaming videos and I found out there there were lots of free streaming videos websites. How could I forget about MySpace and Google Videos. They used to be one of my favorite place to hook up and watch the videos. Soon after I had watched it, I would have to close the videos and then revisit and wait for the time till it is on my screen again. But not any more, I have found that Splandoo has a tool which enables you to download any videos right to your desktop from YouTube, Yahoo Videos, Google Video, MSN Soapbox, Veoh, AOL Uncut, iFilm, MySpace, DailyMotion, Blip.tv, and Break.com.

Don’t worry about the cost. It is totally free of cost. You don’t have to pay anything to download the videos. All you have to do is visit the site, copy and paste the URL of you favorite streaming videos, and then save the location to download at your computer. You will need to have a flv player though. Sometimes you might have to change the extension of the files you download to .flv as most of the videos (as in YouTube) are in flv format.
